Welcome to the Putnam Pet Pals fostering program! As a foster parent, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a dog in need. By temporarily providing a loving home for one of our rescue dogs, you’ll be helping us create more space at the shelter and give more dogs the chance to find their forever homes.
Fostering is a rewarding and enriching experience, but it’s also a big responsibility. As a foster parent, you’ll be responsible for providing food, shelter, and love for your foster dog, as well as helping them learn good doggie manners like house training. You’ll also be expected to provide regular updates on your foster dog and bring your pup to adoption events when requested.
